autoFlex shafts are known for a feel that's very different from conventional shafts, and not every golfer wants to make that jump all at once. The AUTOPOWER Flex driver shaft is designed as a middle step. Here's how it works.
autoFlex makes golf shafts under its autoFlex and AUTOPOWER lines, built around what it calls KHT (Korean Hidden Technology), and sells them direct to golfers.
The AUTOPOWER line bridges conventional shafts and the full autoFlex lineup. Instead of using KHT through the whole shaft, AUTOPOWER places it only in strategic locations for a more familiar feel with added strength.
Within that line, the Flex is the second step after the Snipe. autoFlex describes it as softer than the Snipe, with added flexibility and distance while keeping a familiar feel. From the Flex, the brand says you can move to any autoFlex shaft, or take it gradually with the Original or Dream7.
The AUTOPOWER Flex comes in eight specs matched to driver swing speed:
Torque ranges from 5.0° on the softest spec to 2.5° on the stiffest. The tip is 0.335", raw length is 45", and autoFlex recommends a 45" build length to control swingweight.
The shaft is offered in Silver and Pink, and it's listed at $590 at the time of writing.
The AUTOPOWER Flex suits golfers who are curious about autoFlex but want a gentler transition, and players who prefer a bit more mass and a familiar feel.
autoFlex ships free and offers free exchanges within 30 days of purchase.
The AUTOPOWER Flex is a thoughtful middle ground in the autoFlex lineup, with a wide range of specs to match nearly any swing speed.
