Dreamroo 9-Piece Everyday Food Storage Set Review: Plastic-Free Silicone Containers

If you're trying to cut plastic out of your kitchen, food storage is a good place to start. The 9-Piece Everyday Food Storage Set from Dreamroo replaces a drawer of mismatched plastic tubs with one silicone system. Here's what it includes.

About Dreamroo

Dreamroo makes platinum-cured silicone food containers, bento boxes, baby feeding accessories and kitchen essentials as a plastic-free alternative. The brand was founded by a veteran and engineer.

What's in the 9-Piece Set?

The set combines three container types:

• Round containers for soups, sauces and meal prep
• Rectangle containers for leftovers, packed lunches and batch cooking
• Mini containers for dips, sauces and snacks

Key Features

Platinum-cured silicone

Every piece is made from 100% platinum-cured, food-grade silicone with no BPA, PVC or phthalates.

Freezer to oven

The containers go from freezer to microwave to oven (up to 400°F) to dishwasher, so one container can handle storage, reheating and cleanup.

Easy to organize

You can label the containers with a chalk marker and stack them in the fridge.

Colors and Price

The set comes in Stonewash, Minty Fresh, Rosewood and Midnight Blue. At the time of writing, it's listed at $85, down from $120. Dreamroo says that's a 31% saving compared with buying each piece individually.
