Yeelight Monitor Light Bar Aries Review: A Glare-Free Desk Light That Clips to Your Screen

A desk lamp takes up space and can cast glare on your screen. The Monitor Light Bar Aries from Yeelight sits on top of your monitor instead, lighting your desk without reflecting off the display. Here's a closer look.

About Yeelight

Yeelight is a smart lighting brand offering ceiling lights, ambient lamps, light strips, monitor light bars, desk lamps and night lights.

What Is the Monitor Light Bar Aries?

The Aries is a USB-powered light bar that clips onto the top of your monitor and lights your desk area.

Key Features

Flicker-free and anti-glare

Yeelight says the Aries is RG0 certified for blue light and uses flicker-free technology. Its anti-glare design keeps light off your screen to minimize reflections.

Adjustable light

You can adjust brightness and color temperature from 2700K to 6500K, with three one-touch presets for work, reading and leisure.

Accurate color

78 LEDs with a Ra95 CRI deliver even, natural light, which helps designers and anyone who spends long hours at a screen.

Easy setup

A tool-free clip fits monitors from 0.3" to 1.4" thick, including curved screens. It's powered by USB with a 1.5m cable, and the low-profile design stays clear of your webcam.

Metal build

The full-metal body helps with heat dissipation and durability.

At the time of writing, the Yeelight Monitor Light Bar Aries is listed at $29.99, down from $32.99.
